OUR TEAM Ms. Isabelle DUZER, Consultant Isabelle joined HRINC as a Consultant in early 2007. She brings to the team a wealth of international experience across a variety of areas. Isabelle then moved to Paris to work for a leading research institute (DAFSA), where she led a team that conducted market research on pharmaceutical products in France. Before coming to Cambodia, Isabelle spent 7 years with a leading insurance company in Paris. She was in charge of health quotations and provident policies and the supervision of large portfolios. At HRINC, Isabelle manages a wide variety of consulting projects. She has worked for clients in both the private and NGO sectors, including local organizations and multinationals. Isabelle works extensively on HRINC’s salary survey programme, as well as other HR consulting projects. Isabelle speaks French and English fluently.
Mr. Sean POWER, Consultant Sean joined HRINC as a Consultant in late 2007. After completing his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at the University of Melbourne (Australia), Sean began his career as an Economist with the Industry Commission. He then worked as a Senior Policy Officer with the National Competition Council, where he advised the Australian Government on economic reforms to the gas and electricity sectors. Sean then moved to London for two years to work as a financial journalist for an investment magazine called Shares. Moving back to Australia, Sean became Head of Product Management at Portfolio Partners, a large investment company. Sean was responsible for developing new investment funds and promoting the company’s existing product range. At HRINC, Sean works on a variety of projects, including salary surveys and other consulting services. He is also responsible for business development at HRINC Consulting. Sean brings to the team extensive experience in research, analysis and report writing across a diverse range of sectors. Sean speaks English fluently and is currently learning Khmer.
Mr. YIM Meng Chhorn, Senior HR Analyst Meng Chhorn joined HRINC in 2006. He has a bachelor degree of English from Institute of Foreign Language, BBA from National University of Management and MBA from Royal University of Law and Economics. Initially, Meng Chhorn joined HRINC as in intern in the recruitment division. He was actively involved in arranging recruitment interviews, interviewing Human Resources Managers and building client relationships. Upon completion of his internship, Meng Chhorn joined HRINC’s consulting team. He has worked on a wide range of HR consulting projects, including industry salary surveys, client salary reviews, staff satisfaction surveys and job analysis. As Senior HR Analyst, Meng Chhorn directly manages a team of HR Analysts and takes the lead role on some projects. He also manages relationships with senior managers and other clients. He has excellent skills in data collection and analysis, as well as report writing and project management. He has experience across all sectors, including the garment, microfinance and NGO sectors. Meng Chhorn speaks Khmer and English fluently, and has a basic understanding of French.
Ms. NIL Keorachana, HR Analyst Rachana commenced work at HRINC as an HR Analyst in 2007. She has a Bachelor of Economics and Management from University of Lyon 2, Lyon, France. She also has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), high competitive class (special class at RULE) with qualified French lecturers. Since joining HRINC, Rachana has worked on a variety of projects. She has extensive experience in salary surveys, including the Garment Sector Salary Survey 2007-08 and the Private Sector Salary Survey 2007-08. She is currently working on the Private Sector Salary Survey 2008-09 and the Hotel Sector Salary Survey 2008-09. On these projects, Rachana is responsible for contacting companies, collecting data and job analysis. In addition to salary surveys, Rachana has also worked on other HR consulting projects.
Ms. LENG Thida, HR Analyst Thida graduated from the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) with a double degree. She holds a Bachelor in Business and Administration at RULE as well as a Bachelor in Economics and Management, accredited by the University of Lyon 2 in France. During her studies, Thida was a marketing trainee with the French Cambodian Chamber of Commerce (CCFC). Upon graduation, Thida started her career as a translator (French/Khmer) in Kampong Cham province working in a variety of areas. She worked for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) on a project related to Dengue Fever at the Childrens Hospital. Thida joined HRINC as an HR Analyst in 2007 and has worked on a variety of projects. She worked on the Garment Sector Salary Survey 2007-08 and the Private Sector Salary Survey 2007-8. She is currently working on salary surveys in the microfinance and telecoms sectors. Thida continues to pursue her Master Degree in General Management at RULE, as well as a Bachelor Degree in English. Thida is fluent in Khmer, English and French.
Ms. Oum, Sokuntheary, HR Analyst Bachelor of Education, Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), 2008 Exchange student in Economics Department, University of Newcastle, Australia (Peace Scholarship Programme of IDP), 2006-07 Sokuntheary is an HR Analyst in HRINC’s Consulting team. She has an impressive academic background in the areas of education, economics and management. Her academic achievements include winning the Outstanding Student Award at RULE in 2005 and also the Outstanding Student Award from the Phnom Penh City Mayor (H.E. Kep Chutema) in 2003. In 2006, she went to Australia to study as an exchange student for one year in the Economics Department at the University of Newcastle, on a Peace Scholarship Programme sponsored by IDP and the University of Newcastle. During her time in Australia, she was a member of the Newcastle University Student Association and the Circle K club. She also worked as a Teacher Assistant at Jesmond Public School. In Cambodia, Sokuntheary worked for several years as a part-time Teacher of English in various education institutes in Phnom Penh, including E-Hour School, Universal English School and American Intercon Institute. These roles helped to develop her organisation skills (preparing for classes, grading exams and writing student report cards), presentation skills and interpersonal skills. Sokuntheary is fluent in Khmer and English, and also speaks some Thai and Mandarin.
Mr. YIM Pouthea, HR Analyst Diploma of Public Administration, Royal School of Administration (RSA), 2008 Bachelor of Economic Science – Economic Development, Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), 2006 Bachelor of Business Administration – Marketing, National University of Management (NUM), 2005 Pouthea is an HR Analyst in HRINC’s Consulting team. His impressive academic achievements include winning the 1 Class Rank Award for Year 3 (RULE) and the SUMITIMO prize for Top 10 Students (NUM). His written work includes a thesis on the Impact of the Private Sector on Cambodia’s Development (RULE) and a report on Daily Toothpaste Consumer Behavior (NUM). Prior to joining HRINC, Pouthea completed a six month internship as a Programme Assistant at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Working in the Governance Cluster, he provided support in the overall financial management of projects. This included processing payments and allowances, providing support to programme assistants in monitoring financial reports and financial expenditures, maintaining files for programme managers and team leaders, organizing workshops and translating reports for programme managers. He also has experience in market research. For Sok Kong Import Export Company, he conducted research on consumer attitudes towards Sokimex Gasoline. This involved developing questionnaires and interviewing customers, collecting and analyzing the data, and writing a report of the key findings. He carried out similar duties in relation to market research on palm wine on behalf of Khmer Nature Handicraft Company. He has also worked as an Account Co-ordinator at an advertising agency company called Phibious, where he developing a marketing campaign and sourced suppliers for quoting samples and prices to clients. At HRINC, Pouthea is working on the 2008-09 Salary Survey reports. He is conducting economic and industry research and writing the “Economic Outlook” section of the Private Sector Salary Survey. Pouthea is fluent in Khmer and English.
