Description:

Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing all operations within a country.
  • Takes on full responsibility for profit, revenue, cash, and quality targets of the affiliate/subsidiary.
  • Defines and implements annual budget plans and provides regular reports to the headquarters.
  • Develops a successful commercial development strategy for the country.
  • Provides strategic direction to the team to ensure delivery of broad business objectives
  • Oversees the financial function of the business and ensures that controls are in place to enhance accountability and alignment with business strategies.
  • Coordinates and develops all departments and ensures operational and strategic goals are achieved.
  • Coordinates the logistics operations, including warehousing activities.
  • Develops both new business and current accounts through business development research to create growth in sales.
  • Represents the company externally with government, statutory/regulatory bodies and business partners/allies.
  • Develops and implements internal systems for logistics, commercial and financial information flows in cooperation with headquarters.
  • Recruit and manage staff, including performance monitoring, and possibly mentoring and training
  • Work to increase brand visibility and positioning

Job Requirement

  • Good knowledge in selling, negotiation, commercial awareness.
  • Thorough Product/Services knowledge.
  • In depth understanding of supply chain processes and how it impacts on product availability & distribution in the country.
  • Advanced analytical, interpersonal and people management skills
  • Thorough understanding of the trade, prescribers and dispensers.
  • Understanding of the political, socio-economic environment.
  • Countrywide territorial knowledge.
  • Negotiation Skills and Presentation Skills
  • At least eight (8) years field sales experience with refined ability to coach and motivate the team.
  • Good interpersonal skills and integrity are essential.
  • At least holding a master degree, majoring in Business Administration or General Management.
