Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain standardized legal contracts and other legal documents as required across group of companies
  • Review and recommend changes to all existing and new contracts to ensure that terms and conditions are in the group’s best interest
  • Be the point of contact and liase with legal entities as required
  • Provide legal advice to ensure minimum legal risk for the company
  • Review policies and procedures for legal compliance and fraud avoidance
  • Keep up to date with law and regulation related to real estate industry
  • Monitor and provide recommendations on sources of liability and legal risk
  • Monitor and improve on internal compliance with company rules and regulations
  • Keep up to date with laws to prepare and submit required applications to obtain permits and licenses as required and in a timely matter
  • Accurately complete and check all documentations required to apply for licenses/permits/registrations prior to submission to ministry
  • Prepare and file appropriate documents to maintain all existing licenses/permits (including a tracking database)
  • Establish and maintain good working relations with ministries and regulatory bodies
  • Translate legal documents and provide legal support at group level as required
  • Develop, maintain and ensure proper filing of all legal documents
  • Other jobs as required

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum - Communications related Diploma or MA/BA Degree with 3 years public relation work experience
  • High level of oral and written communication skills in both English and Khmer.
  • Can communicate factual and conceptual information clearly, concisely and in an appropriate style for the audience
  • Good planning, project management skills and problem resolution skills; able to successfully manage several projects simultaneously
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Office packages is a must
  • Understand both local and international political, social, economic, regulatory and legal environment/landscape
