Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Capacity Building and Public Awareness
Coordination and liaison

  • Liaise with other ACF teams, SAC and the Management Team (MT) to determine the training needs for both internal and external ACF target groups,
  • In consultation with other departments, develop an annual schedule of meetings, trainings, and other events for in-country and overseas stakeholders and exchange visits,
  • Liaise with the ACF Communications Officer to coordinate communications & training with AC members, SAC, staff, ACF staff,
  • Coordinate within ACF, Community based organisations  to organize stakeholder training events and communications with employers, employees, ministerial officials, court personnel, and students, etc.,

 

Administration and Logistics

  • Assist Manager of Training Communication and Public Relations (MTC)  in analyzing, assessing and identifying training priorities, financial and human resources available for training needs.
  • Ensure that event venue is properly set up, with appropriate banners/signage and that all necessary resources (microphones, LCD, etc.) are in place and ready prior to the start of the event;
  • Coordinate with Finance and Admin Department (FAD) in organizing receptions and snacks for meetings and trainings;
  • Ensure that participants of the events are registered;
  • Ensure that publications and training materials are distributed;
  • Make travel arrangements and provide administrative and logistics support for incoming visitors;
  • Arrange logistics for trainings, workshops, public events, and external visitors,
  • Assist MTC in planning trainings/workshop and public events quarterly and annually.
  • Assist MTC in preparing budget for trainings, workshops and public events quarterly and annually.
  • Seek, obtain and compare quotations from various suppliers in accordance with ACF’s and donor’s policies.
  • Develop and make budget projections and proposals for cash advances, settlement of payments, and keep record of them and of related quotes, invoices and bills;

 

Documentation and reporting

  • Maintain and review the Database Publications and Training Module
  • Monitor, evaluate and review all training activities and outcomes;
  • Collect and document all training evaluation sheets
  • Provide recommendations to MTC and Executive Management team based on monitoring and evaluation processes and outcomes;
  • Produce monthly report to MTC
  • Ensure that, at the end of the event, all is in order and any ACF materials are returned to the office

 

2. Publications and Sales

  • Collect and compile legal regulations related to industrial relations and labour law
  • Assist in development and implementation of marketing strategies and tools

 

The required qualities of the ideal candidate include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent in English, business administration, in laws, or a related field.
  • Good at written and oral communications in both Khmer and English
  • At least 2 years of practical experience in coordination of meeting, training, conference and other events
  • Experience with using computers and Office software packages
  • Demonstrate integrity by modeling AC/F values and ethical standards
  • Promote the vision, mission, and goals of AC/F
  • Display sensitivity and adaptability to cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age differences
  • Ability to work cooperatively and creatively in team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal relations, organization & planning skills, and presentation & communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate projects effectively and efficiently
  • Desire to promote a knowledge sharing and learning culture in the workplace
  • High level of resourcefulness and ability to work under pressure and with little or no supervision
  • Build strong professional relationship both internally and externally
  • Flexibility and ability to manage complexities
  • Willingness to travel to provinces and overseas
  • Honest and ethical individual who works to the highest standards of integrity and propriety

 

Salary package

  • Salary ranges $500 - $609 and benefits will be provided
