Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the existing team by setting up the subsidiary (obtaining permits, finding networks, define local strategies, etc.)
  • Lead the hiring process to build up a talented and skilled local team over time
  • Drive the local strategy to increase sales and grow market share in cooperation with the regional HQ
  • Grow existing distribution networks and develop new ones
  • Represent the Company in Cambodia market and will build up strong networks with customers, partners, local organisations etc
  • Be responsible for reaching the annual budget and will participate in the budget process
  • Support the drive of Regional initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy at local level
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement and motivation of employees.
  • Establishes, implements and updates guidelines and policies for local employees and, ensures that uniform standards of employment are maintained and updated in alignment with statutory regulation

Requirements:

  • Degree in either technical or commercial
  • at least 10 years of sales experience (B2B and/or B2C), out of which at least 5 in managerial roles
  • Have the experience with e.g. construction or material handling equipment, tools and vehicles, building material, outdoor and gardening devices, etc.
  • Experienced in managing and leading teams
  • Be a very hands on person who will successfully work within a very small team
  • Fluent in Khmer and English and able to communicate and interact well on an international platform
