Description: Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document comprehensive test plans, test conditions and test cases with expected results from business requirements
  • Perform functional System, SIT and E2E testing activities for business applications
  • Perform and/or support non-functional testing on applications and architecture, such as performance, operational, disaster/recovery, security, and infrastructure testing
  • Raising, supporting & tracking of defects to closure
  • Attendance and input in all key project meetings or workshops where test expertise is required
  • Automation of key test cases, aligning to the automation framework, risk-based test approach and Return on Investment considerations
  • Peer review and QA of all test-related input and output project artifacts
  • Align to and provide input to the development of overall test processes and associated artifacts.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, internal, technology team and vendors following appropriate governance and Test methodology / strategy
  • Communicate risks, issues and drive or support mitigation plans, where relevant
  • Work collaboratively with the project team, internal business and vendors to ensure effective identification, evaluation and quality assurance of testing activities and deliverables
  • Anticipate, shape and provide education, training, assistance and guidance to stakeholders when needed
  • Active team member, able and willing to contribute in a number of areas to meet objectives
  • Provide leadership and management of team members as appropriate.
  • Set and maintain high standards of performance for self and others
  • Take responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks as required.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry trends and Test Management best practices
  • Participate at relevant conferences, industry events, forums and associations

Job Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in business systems, IT or a related discipline
  • 5 years’ experience as a (Senior) Test Analyst
  • End to end test skills covering all stated functional and non-functional test events
  • Prior experience working on complex enterprise projects with integration & migration components
  • Experience in using Micro Focus ALM or similar test management tools for requirements, testing, and defect management and reporting/metrics
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Waterfall testing processes & methodologies
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Agile frameworks, e.g. scrum, kanban, SAFe
  • Good working knowledge of and experience working with third party providers,
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to cope well under pressure
  • Proven research and analytical skills
