Description: Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within company.
  • Promotion of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
  • Ensure that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with Stakeholders , technology functions and Service Providers to structure robust governance models on delivery and operational services
  • Develop risk management of information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies in conjunction
  • Work with the solutions architect to provide a consensus based enterprise solutions that are scalable, robust and inline with company business operating model.
  • Work collaboratively with all parts of the IT organisation, to ensure effective identification and evaluation business needs to align to IT Strategy.
  • Work productively with external providers to ensure they are fully apprised of IT Strategy and Architecture plans and delivery requirements.
  • Anticipate, shape and provide education, training, assistance and guidance to stakeholders when needed.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Solutions Architects and other team members and service providers
  • Set and maintain high standards of performance for self and others.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks as required.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry trends and Architecture best practices
  • Participate at relevant conferences, industry events, forums and associations.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity and Workplace Health &Safety requirements and keeping the workplace safe and hazard free at all times

Job Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in business systems, IT or a related discipline
  • Proven Enterprise Architecture expertise across all Architecture domains preferably with experience in the Financial sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, features and integration capabilities with exposure to latest Digital and Cloud technologies
  • Proven demonstrated experience in a consultative delivery of strategic design, planning and architecture services
  • Solid background in managing and/or directing an Architecture team
  • Excellent strategic thinking with commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement and relationship skills and communication skills
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor management capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to cope well under pressure
  • Proven research and analytical skills
  • Commitment to outstanding client services
  • Results focused.
  • Commitment and demonstration to company values and behaviour in all tasks and interactions.
  • Ability to work outside of business hours when necessary.
