Description: Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the Integration is maintained and available in an efficient and effective manner to company.
  • Monitor the delivery of integration enhancements and changes from third party suppliers and identify any problems and ensure these are dealt with expeditiously.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation in relation to the Integration environment is always current and available.
  • Provide continued improvement to the integration platform to achieve efficiencies in performance and availability
  • Provide the level of internal support necessary and expected in line with agreements with outsourced providers.
  • Be responsive to request for input and advice from other parts of the organisation.
  • Advise on any further Integration and reporting needs or investments.
  • Work with project teams on the requirements for developments in the design and build phases.
  • Provide oversight on the delivery of reporting services to the business.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with all parts of the IT organisation, to ensure effective identification and evaluation of system integration needs.
  • Work productively with external providers to ensure they are fully apprised of company Integration and reporting needs, expectations and delivery requirements.
  • Anticipate, shape and provide education, training, assistance and guidance to stakeholders when needed.
  • Active team member, able and willing to contribute in a number of areas to meet objectives .
  • Provide leadership and management of team members as appropriate.
  • Set and maintain high standards of performance for self and others
  • Take responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks as required.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry trends
  • Participate at relevant conferences, industry events, forums and associations.

Job Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in business systems, IT or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in working in the development build and run of Integration / middleware / messaging solutions – IBM MQ / WebSphere
  • ETL tools and technologies – SSIS
  • Understanding of continuous integration
  • Strong understanding of production support environments and issue resolution
  • Good working knowledge of and experience working with third party providers,
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to cope well under pressure
  • Proven research and analytical skills
  • Good relationship skills
  • Commitment to outstanding client service
  • Basic financial management competence
  • Results focused
  • Commitment and demonstration to company values and behaviour in all tasks and interactions
  • Ability to work outside of business hours when necessary.
