Description:

Area Sales Manager

Summary of Position

  • Effective manage of daily call plan and call card of sales executive per sales channel  
    • Plan and lead sales team to establish coverage, and achieve sales and distribution targets in the assigned area
    • Execute trades promotional and merchandising activities in the outlets
    • Plan and lead sales team to implement sales activation to support off-take
    • Support supply chain per channel of trade

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan to achieve route-wise / Sales Team-wise volume, fundamentals, objective in all areas manage and lead sales force, provide guideline and problem resolution to ensure team members are fully motivated to comply with the company policy and get achievement of sales performance
  • Manage daily call plan and call card of sales executive per sales channel
  • Drive and coach sales team to manage stock of customers for effective weekly sales and implement tactical activities to achieve high level of outcomes
  • Lead and motivate sale teams per channel to manage coverage, space for product display and merchandising
  • Train Sales Team to ensure product visibility in outlets at prime location and ensure stock movement of customers is under control (FIFO Method)
  • Monitor and screening market of information, especially, activities of competitors
  • Achieve sales targets in regions based on KPI set
  • Effective implement activity plan based on approved-annual business plan
  • Sales coverage (General Trades, HoReCa and Modern Trade) and market expansion in region

Qualification and Requirement

  • Good relationship with customer
  • Bachelor degree in Business management, Admin, Marketing or any other technical skills.
  • Have 2-4 years’ experience in sales
