JOB Responsibilities:

  • Guides Managers/Leads In Work Prioritization, Implementing Cost-effective Measures To Work Execution, And Making Decisions Regarding Work Quality.
  • Develops And Implements Processes, Procedures, And Initiatives To Effectively And Successfully Execute Contract Requirements, Monitor Progress, Enhance Performance, And Address And Resolve Performance Deficiencies.
  • Communicates Operational Activities Routinely To The Site Manager And Various Government Agencies Responsible For Site Operations.
  • Conducts Regular Work Control And Scheduling Meetings To Ensure The Effective Execution Of Work (direct Scheduled Work, Recurring Maintenance).
  • Plans And Formulates Work Plans Organize Tasks, And Reviews Maintenance Data To Determine Efficiency And Effectiveness And To Ensure Successful Contract Performance.
  • As Directed By The Site Manager And In Conjunction With Subordinate Managers, Responds To All On-site Emergencies.
  • Interacts With Various Government Offices And Personnel As Required To Maintain Effective Communication Exchange And Positive Relationships.
  • Assists The Site Manager To Ensures Site Goals/objectives And Contract Obligations Are Met, And Sound Business Practices Are Appropriately And Consistently Applied.
  • Develops And Maintains Good Working Relationships With Contract Customers, Subcontractors, And Suppliers.
  • Maintains A Positive And Energetic Attitude In Order To Attract, Retain, And Develop Competent And Productive Employees By Giving Proper Direction, Guidance, Training, And Counseling.
  • Conducts Planning, Assigning, And Directing Work; Rewarding And Disciplining Employees; Addressing Employee Complaints, And Resolving Personnel/task Conflicts/problems.
  • Ensures A Safe Work Environment For All Employees Free From Harassment.
  • Monitors Operations And Maintenance Of The MDA Real Property, Including The Site Control Monitoring System.

JOB Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree In Management, Project Or Business Administration, Or Science/technical Fields.
  • Three (3) Years Of Base Operations And Support (BOS) Project, Program, Or Operations Management Experience May Be Substituted For The Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Three (3) Years Of Proven Managerial Experience Leading, Managing, And Directing A Large (greater Than 30 People) Multi-specialized Workforce In The Execution Of Base Support Services As Described In This Position Description.
  • Intermediate Skills In Microsoft Office Software, Including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, And Outlook.Valid State Drivers’ License With An Acceptable Driving Record
