Description: Responsibilities:
  • Identify any holes and weaknesses within the client’s internal and external policies to develop controls ensuring all compliance needs are met
  • Keep completely up to date on relevant laws and regulations – proactively making changes to policies and consulting the senior team on these in detail
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audit to ensure that current procedures and policies are being met, and proactively approach future policy changes
  • Particular attention to be given to AML, conduct monitoring programs to ensure the business is compliant with AML developments
  • Submit AML reports to the relevant external authorities and liaise with them as required to ensure compliance in full
  • Formulate action plans and follow up the implementation of new compliance policies across the business, rectifying any issues and reporting these
  • Collaborate with management to ensure the entire company is aware of ongoing and changing compliance procedures
  • Carry out ad hoc duties and projects as assigned from management
  • Support and answer to any legal issues within the daily operation of the business and work with management to resolve key issues
  • Provide employee training as required on compliance related topics and procedures
Job Requirement:
  • Bachelor degree in Law or similar
  • 3-4 years of experience in compliance and audit within a bank or financial services
  • Solid understanding and effective corporate compliance and ethics program
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry’s law and regulation
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
  • Highly confident in communicating with Government authorities at all levels
  • Good communication skills in English and Khmer
  • Strong, friendly and team-orientated personality with exceptional communication
  • Existing and strong network within the compliance community
  • Demonstrates the ability to pay close attention to detail and able to scrutinise information and understand impact
  • Excellent teamwork and standalone work
  • Honest, reliable and commitment to confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and open to self-improvement
  • Fast-learner and a keen interest in personal and business insurance products
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
