Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Initiate and facilitate with in charge officers, relevant managements and staffs to keep updates and analyze the market environment, the industry trend.
  • Develop and refine strategies, policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure good marketing communications, branding, customer services, public relations, research studies, products and business development, socio-economic services, and other social performance initiatives of the institution;
  • Provide ongoing technical supports and oversee of the effectiveness for the use and implementation of policies, procedures, guidelines within relevant departments, branches and mechanisms to line supervisors in order to address the challenges encountered and improve the institution’s performance;
  • Develop monthly quarterly, and annually budget for marketing and social performance department and effectively manage such budget to ensure the optimal outputs;
  • Review and consolidate relevant reports associated with the department’s scope of work for line supervisor(s) and relevant key stakeholders.
  • Initiate, review, and comment on the development and updates of communication and promotional tools such as business card, leaflet, flyers, banners, calendars, diaries, annual report, corporate profile, internal newsletter, T-shirt, Parasol, website, and social medias;
  • Formulate marketing strategies, including e-marketing with breaking down annual and monthly action plan to ensure achieving marketing objectives.
  • Liaise with the agencies to produce TV commercials, radio spots, video clips, press releases, photo collection, and other marketing materials as well as the initiatives and creative concepts towards standardized graphic design, office image – interior and exterior office decoration and taking lead in company’s promotional activities and campaigns;
  • Initiate and facilitate with relevant departments and branches to plan and implement the promotional activities in order to support operational expansion and introduction of new and refined products/ services as well as building company’s branding.
  • Ensure the quality of customer services and public relations through effective overseeing of the development and implementation of customer services and public relation initiatives such as the development of tools and mechanisms to handle client complaints/ feedback, reporting system for client complaint handling and public relation activities;
  • Conduct survey on satisfaction survey, exit survey, employee satisfaction survey, competitive survey, MFI performance trend analysis, and market study for new area expansion, etc.
  • Interpret the result of survey or research studies with proper proposition to line management for developing ways forward; - Initiate, review, facilitate, and take lead on refinements of the key features and delivery channels of the existing products and services, new business/product design, concept testing, and initiative rollout;
  • Facilitate with involved product development, research staff to evaluate of market & competition, including client’s needs satisfaction and complaints for a development and improvement of products and services;
  • Initiate effective communication that enables itself updated on situation of market competition and come up with proposal on product refinement or new product development to ensure maintaining or expanding the market shares;
  • Initiate and propose new business processes and opportunities to BoD and management to optimize operational and financial performance of company.
  • Effectively coordinate and improve the implementation of social performance management tools use by company such as Social Indicator Framework, Client Protection Principles, Social audits using Cerise’s SPI, and Universal Social Performance Standards initiated by Social Performance Task Forces as well as facilitate the rating process done by rating agencies and be active in interactions with other social affiliates;
  • Cooperate with relevant departments to timely report and communicate the latest updates on company’s social, operational, and financial performance to the concerned organizations such as Truelift, SPI4, MIX Market, etc.
  • Provide supports and oversee the effective use of progress out of poverty index (PPI) to make sure that company has a concrete tool to measure its targeting and the program impacts and make sure that poverty data is regularly and properly collected, encoded, analyzed, and reported to company’s shareholders, BoD, management, and staffs as well as to the institution’s key stakeholders;
  • Building capacity of subordinates;
  • Conduct Due Diligent from Lender or visitors;
  • Take lead for Business Project and partnership works;
  • Frequently travel across provincial and districts where company is operating to conduct onsite branch visits and supports.
  • Perform other related tasks and duties assigned by line supervisor(s).

 

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • Education: At least Bachelor in Marketing, Management, Economics, Business Management or other related fields.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in marketing and communication, customer services, public relations, research studies, and product development and at least 3 years in supervisory and management role – experience in micro finance industry is preferable.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge in marketing, business development, analytical skill, and social performance management.
  • Language: Be highly proficient in English
  • Computer literacy: MS office, internet, e-mail, SPSS and Design is a plus.
  • Have a good interpersonal and communication skill, team work, independent, and result oriented.
  • Has leadership skills and high motivation to help the poor people.
  • Ability to use initiative, prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
