Description:

Position Purposes : This position provides leadership and production management in an alternate day-and-night shift basis to ensure world class manufacturing principles are followed as well as production practices/KPIs are maintained and improved. This position will interact pro-actively with the leadership team and implement all requirements down to the shop floor. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating all manufacturing activities in the designated production department to ensure that products are produced at highest possible quality level, meeting daily targets for productivity and scrap at lowest possible cost without compromising safety.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To lead, organize and motivate production activities in the production team working in rotating shifts to achieve safety,
  • customer service, quality, productivity and cost objectives.
  • Manage team resources to fulfill the required production schedules including “Pre-production processes (daily production
  • planning, prepress, material preparation….)”, “Produce to Specification”, “Quality Gates”, “Troubleshooting and preventive
  • maintenance” … activities in the production shift.
  • Check actual production result of the designated production team vs. objectives via Production Reports, prepares gap
  • analysis and corrective action.
  • Lead GPS (Global Performance management System) process in the assigned production team.
  • Lead special ELS Kaizen projects (Process Improvement, TPM, Cost Saving e.g. Waste Reduction) across the designated
  • production areas and/or the whole Production Department.
  • Participate as company representative in designated regional/global communities/projects.
  • Operations KPI (e.g. Safety, 5S, conformance to production plan, quality, productivity, waste…) in the designated
  • production team.
  • Key human resource management indexes (turnover rate, employee satisfaction rate, GPS effectiveness…) on the assigned
  • production team.
  • Result achieved by the designated special ELS/Enterprise Lean Sigma (Process Improvement, TPM, Cost Saving projects e.g.
  • Waste Reduction).

Main Requirements:

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering or other related fields.
  • 5-8 years experience in similar areas. Direct Production is preferred but candidates with experiences in
  • leading/coordinating engineering projects or other kinds of complex industrial operations (e.g. logistics like warehousing
  • and shipping) can also be considered.
  • Strong leadership quality in accordance with company’s Leadership Principles.
  • Inter-functional Business understanding and knowledge, Business Intuition (in production aspects).
  • Special Skill: Knowledge and experiences in Enterprise Lean Sigma is very preferred.
  • Technical Skill: Engineering/process knowledge on garment production, weaving or printing operations is preferred.
  • English communication proficiency, Mandarin speaking is very preferred.
